OK, but my work is in the current MODPOD document already. It seems like I would know, given that I contribute to the document and have been in the IETF for 20+ years (yikes).

Only 3 commits, but usually the editors make the PR in response to GitHub issues.

I would never do that unless I were truly unsure about where a document should go. In this case, it's not necessary for the document to move past an I-D. I think it should, but the I-D is enough to get the point across. I should fix some typos and write a few more caveats for our more literally minded participants.

I do find it humorous that one argument is "you don't have to read it" but also "this is generating too much traffic".
