Things are likely to be very different by November 2026. Not least because the US is scheduled to hold the world's second largest sporting event earlier that year followed by the largest in 2028.

FIFA World Cup takes place around June (as usual). Is there anything more popular than football? (or "soccer", if you wish). :-)
