There are such trans-national bodies that have adequate meeting space in the location you mention.
Actually it was not so obvious the last time I looked at it, around 2005 when I was still living in the Geneva area. The "International conference centre" associated with the UN was too small (not enough breakout rooms) and Palexpo (the generic convention centre near the airport) was too big...
But yes, quite a few international organisations have found a permanent base in Switzerland. At the moment, I wish that both ICANN and ISOC had done so.

Given the unstable nature of the world, perhaps the IETF should consider a specialist neutral country such as Switzerland?
It might even re-consider the benefits of meeting in a single venue vs its historic peripatetic approach.

Irrespective of where they are, my question to the IESG is simple, will the IETF look at moving IETF 127 (Scheduled for San Francisco) should these travel bans go into effect. I cannot see how it is possible to hold an IETF meeting in a country that is effectively barring entry to so many participants.
