All teaching will be in *English* with a bilingual *English/Spanish* crew. - *VOLCANOCAMP *will include lectures, workshops, field trips and field skills training through detailed learning about Tenerife's complex volcanic system and history, attendance to the IV International Vulcana Symposium <https://geotenerife.com/vulcanasymposium/>, co-organised between GeoTenerife <https://geotenerife.com/> and IEO-CSIC <https://www.ieo.es/en/acerca-del-ieo>, and discussions with scientists, documentary makers, and emergency managers during the 2021 Cumbre Vieja eruption. This programme is open to *ANYONE with an interest in volcanoes*, with GeoTenerife having extensive experience leading mixed-experience geoscience field camps. - *VOLCANOCAMP Extension programme *gives students the opportunity to work on a *collaborative volcanology research project *with GeoTenerife <https://geotenerife.com/> and IGN <https://www.ign.es/web/en/qsm-cnig>, the Spanish Geographic Institute, or IEO-CSIC <https://www.ieo.es/en/acerca-del-ieo>, the Spanish National Oceanographic Institute. This programme is aimed at *Master's or PhD students*, with the aim to foster longer-term collaborations between the applicant's home university and institutes in the Canary Islands. We aim to offer *scholarship* for at least one applicant aimed at a local or international earth science student who would benefit from this course to progress their future career. Places and scholarships will be allocated on a first come-first served basis.
