Smithsonian colleagues received news from the family that Dick Fiske passed
away on June 18th in Seattle after a long struggle with dementia, and a
short, intense period of pneumonia. His wife Pat Fiske was by his side and
son Peter was on the phone with them when he died. The family would
appreciate hearing any stories or seeing photos from colleagues and
