Hmmmm.... I don't remember the "only support ext4" announcement.  But I
did get and email saying they would drop linux.  I had a lot of use for
it in years past -- none at all in the last 6-7 months or so.  So, when
I upgrade from Ub 16.04 (Yes. 16!) to UB 24.04 last August, I just
abandoned it.

Yeah, I guess if the need ever arises again, either Google search or
some chatbot could locate a look-a-like/substitute.
