Hi Benno - to be clear, you MUST provide a final list BEFORE the first draw is done. If the list you just sent out is the final one that’s fine, but please say so. Don’t send a changed list after the Euro millions draw happens and expect no pushback. Wrt to Rich’s note - the code that most people use that implements the selection order outputs … numbers. Requiring us to count down the list and try and figure out if we did it right seems more prone to error than numbering the list and using those numbers at the selected handle. Given that you probably have this list in a spread sheet it’s probably easy enough to just provide a numbered list. But rich is correct that the process does not require this. Just seems like an easy way to enhance accuracy. Later, Mike Sent from my iPhone > On Jul 4, 2025, at 15:04, Benno Overeinder <benno@xxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: > > Hi Mike, > > Thank you for your comments. Ideally, you'd do the preliminary now and update it ( by adding challenge names at the end, and removing challenge names without changing the current numbering. E.g. its the fixed order of the list and the positions that's important, not the sort order of the elements of the list. > > I have sent an updated list of the volunteers to the IETF Announce list, with a copy to the IETF Discussion list. > > As Rich mentioned in his earlier email in this thread regarding updates to the list, I will follow the same procedure. > > > Benno Overeinder > nomcom-chair-2025@xxxxxxxx >
