So you are arguing tht we should spend money to support a tool that some folks find useful, and some folks find acceptable? There has been a long standing tension between what we would like formally supported and what our (finite) budget can support.  As long as you are not asking that we stop the emails until teh tools team gets around to it, then this is simply a ticket request to the tools team to prioritize this against everything else.

I don't even participate in tools-discuss, so I am not goint to pretend to guess where this would fall comapred with all the things they are doing.
