As a community member, I do not expect Nomcom to interview every candidate. For example, they should obviously summarily reject IESG candidates with no or tiny track records in WG activity.
It's more tricky for the IAB but should we bother about people without a track record in the wider IETF/IRTF/RIR/SIGCOMM community? The LLC Board is even trickier because it's a different skill set.
