Long time since I posted a query -- it's been 8+ years since retirement.   Brought up my first Apache 2.4 httpd in that time, this time in a Synology NAS using WebStation.   Anybody found a way to counter WebStation's overwriting my http.conf customization?  Trying to create directory index specific to one directory and a location handler for server info at the start and every restart throws them away.

I would rather install the virtual machine manager or the Container Manager and manage everything httpd myself in a persistent piece of disk and use the web station as a dumb reverse proxy instead If I really want to use it.
