Long time since I posted a query -- it's been 8+ years since retirement.   Brought up my first Apache 2.4 httpd in that time, this time in a Synology NAS using WebStation.   Anybody found a way to counter WebStation's overwriting my http.conf customization?  Trying to create directory index specific to one directory and a location handler for server info at the start and every restart throws them away.

That would be a question for the Synology folks, at a glance.

Having bought the unit, you have access to commercial support with them, albeit it might be limited.  It would be a far more probable way to get a quick answer.
