[...] My suggestion would be: - re-do the checksum verification against the download to make sure it hasn't gotten damaged in the meantime. - dd the iso to the SD card - do the checksum verification against the SD card. If this passes the copy on the card should be good. I'm not even sure if F42 requires UEFI - I've been using UEFI for a while now so I haven't had to worry about it.
