The position is fully-funded by Northern Star Resources for a period of two years. Candidates should have graduated or have a defense date already set. The project is focused on characterizing zoning of Au-Bi-Te mineral assemblages across a variety of scales in the Pogo Au deposit. Successful candidates will have a strong background in metamorphic petrology, igneous petrology, and/or water-rock interaction (expertise in one or more is sufficient to qualify for this position).
