Dear Colleagues,

We invite you to contribute to our session at AGU 2025; Seismology
Session *S002
-* *Advances in Seismoacoustics*. If you are looking for a session for your
volcano seismoacoustic/infrasound abstract we would love for you to join
us.

The AGU Fall Meeting 2025 will be held in New Orleans, Louisiana, from
December 15-19.

The *abstract submission deadline* is *July 30, 2025, 23:59 ET/03:59 UTC*.

*Session Description:*

This session explores advances in research on seismoacoustic
signalsâ??acoustic and seismic waves generated by natural phenomena (e.g.,
earthquakes, volcanoes, severe weather) and anthropogenic sources (e.g.,
explosions, aircraft, industrial activity). These signals can travel long
distances and couple across the Earth-atmosphere interface, offering unique
insights into source processes and the propagation environment. We welcome
contributions across the spectrum of seismoacoustic research, including:
(1) Explosion monitoring and event discrimination, with relevance to
national security and treaty verification, (2) Anthropogenic source
modeling, (3) Volcano monitoring and signal characterization, (4)
Development and deployment of instrumentation, (5) Numerical and
theoretical modeling of seismoacoustic wave propagation and coupling, (6)
Signal processing, data fusion, and interpretation methods, (7) Studies of
acoustic-gravity waves and interactions with atmospheric structure, (8)
AI/ML applications for large-scale data analysis or modeling. We encourage
work that connects modeling with observation, integrates multiple data
types, or advances capabilities in seismoacoustic monitoring at all scales.

Please feel free to forward this email to anyone interested.

We are looking forward to your participation in our session and the AGU
meeting!
