From: Herbert Huppert <heh1@xxxxxxxxx> via Jon Fink <jon.fink@xxxxxxx>

Dear all. Following the very successful and enjoyable conference sponsored
by ICMS, Edinburgh, I am pleased to announce a full, special issue of
Geomechanics and Geophysics for Geo-Energy and Geo-Resources on our
subject:

"Bridging the gap between mathematical modelling of lava flows and field
observations"

Papers in the general field of lava flows will be considered, whether
coming from attendees of the meeting or otherwise.

You might let relevant others know about this email, which has been sent to
just under 50 people !

Please submit any suitable paper in BOTH the normal way to the journal and
to me at heh1@xxxxxxxxx by *31 December 2025* *at the very latest.*

The aim is to have the manuscripts carefully refereed and then finally
accepted for publication during 2026.

I will write a sort of introduction summarizing the conference and main
results, which I will send out to all of you for your input and comments.

Please feel totally free to contact me if you have anything you would like
to chat about â?? concerning this matter or any other..

With very best wishes to each of you.
