This landmark event commemorates 30 years of eruption at the Soufrière Hills Volcano, under the theme: "Turning Magma into Momentum." We are grateful to the many volcanologists, disaster risk professionals, decision-makers, and community members - from Montserrat, the region, and around the world - who have expressed interest in contributing to what promises to be a vibrant and meaningful forum. SHV30 will feature inclusive discussions on volcano research and monitoring, crisis management, and sustainable recovery, bringing together scientific perspectives and lived experiences from communities living with active volcanoes.
