The *Indigenous Volcanology Network (IVN)* has entered an exciting phase of
growth and development. Over the past year, our primary focus has been on
expanding our global network and welcoming new members who share our vision
of inclusive, collaborative, and culturally grounded volcanology, including
Indigenous volcanologists, volcanologists and researchers who work with
Indigenous communities, and Tribal leaders, community representatives, and
knowledge holders interested in engaging with volcano science.

Weâ??re excited to announce our *first in-person and online event*:* Sunday,
29th June 2025*
*13:30â??16:00 CEST* (with a coffee break at 14:45)

*IAVCEI General Assembly, Geneva, Switzerland* (Hybrid format â?? join onsite
or online)

Agenda to include expanding membership, identifying shared priorities
across regions and disciplines, forming an organizing committee, and
creating a multi-year calendar of events.
