After she graduated in Neurotechnology Engineering in 2014 at Imperial College London, she received her PhD in 2018 at the University of Catania. Her research interests focus on Artificial Intelligence for Volcano Monitoring from Space, and she is currently involved in developing AI-based solutions for the volcano operational thermal data products for the NASA Surface Biology and Geology (SBG) mission. In this webinar, Claudia will show how Artificial Intelligence (AI) plays a key role in the field of volcano monitoring in extracting meaningful information and gaining new insights from large volumes of satellite data at different spatial and temporal resolutions.
