Rollins will open the new United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Midwestern Food Safety Lab and will make a major food safety policy announcement at a press conference in Normandy, Missouri. This is one major step in USDA’s efforts to support food safety and reduce the spread of foodborne illnesses. WHAT: Secretary Rollins will open the new USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) Laboratory and announce a major food safety policy plan. WHO: U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Brooke L.
