(Washington, D.C., June 18, 2025) – U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Brooke L. Rollins will host a press conference TODAY, June 18th rolling out additional efforts to combat the New World Screwworm (NWS).

WHAT: Secretary Rollins hosts press conference on the New World Screwworm and the work the United States Department of Agriculture is continuing to do to combat its spread. Secretary Rollins will be joined by Representative Monica De La Cruz (R-TX-15), Representative Tony Gonzales (R-TX-23), Representative Vicente Gonzalez (D-TX-34), Representative Ronny Jackson (R-TX-13), and Texas Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller.
