LXQT is not a desktop -- it is a virus! After nuking everything in synaptic
that had LXQT attached to it, I still had a page of autoremoves to
do --and still, there were FeatherNotes and FeatherPad and lord knows what
else. If they're going to install a desktop, there needs to be a way to as
easily uninstall it and all its pomps and works.

They have room for 14 text editors, but no room for locate or, heaven help
us, mc. You know, actually useful stuff.

"sudo apt install locate" is an embarrassment. and no "shutdown" at all. i
don't care if it's a script, we've been using it for 30 years and
unaliving it without so much as a by-your-leave is disrespectful.
