Since having left the handwritten word almost entirely behind me, I started leaving out not just letters, or make typos from similar keystrokes, but nowadays drop whole words from my sentences. It's usually something obvious, that readers can fill in, if English is their first language; but I must apologize to other readers, making them guess what I intended to say.
