I had the idea that GMail actually provides an "unsubscribe" button
based on the List-Unsubscribe headers. I don't use it for these
lists, though, so I'm not sure.
Yes, I think you are right, and I only mentioned GMail because that is
the one I could easily check. That web page has a good list of
alternative email clients.
FWIW, and the archives, I have unsubscribed the OP on their behalf.
