Sorry, I had completely forgotten about this, somebody reached out to remind me though-- that's kinda what I thought since the way rdomain and tunnelrdomain are not so different from the way freebsd fib / tunnelfib work, I'm actually in the process of implementing setfib(3) for something else today so I will try to take a look at this and see if it's something I can put together here in just a bit. Thanks! -Paige On Jul 11, 2025, at 2:01 PM, Damien Miller <djm@xxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: On Fri, 11 Jul 2025, Christian Weisgerber wrote: Paige Thompson via openssh-unix-dev: > Could I or somebody add this in a future release? That might be relatively simple, see this patch that replaces OpenBSD rdomain with FreeBSD FIB support in OpenNTPD: https://cgit.freebsd.org/ports/tree/net/openntpd/files/patch-src_server.c (I don't have any time to work on this myself.) That looks very straightforward. Someone just needs to implement sys_get_rdomain() and sys_set_rdomain() for FreeBSD in OpenSSH'!
