It appears my previous attempt to send this patch did not successfully reach the mailing lists (linux-bluetooth@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx and linux-kernel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx), although some maintainers may have received it directly. I am resending it now to ensure it is properly distributed to the lists for review and discussion. If this one still fails, I may try another way to report the new hardware ID.
