'Ask Me Anything' (AMA) Sessions for IETF 124 BoFs

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

The IESG and the IAB will be hosting two ‘ask me anything’ (AMA) virtual sessions for the community to help proponents who are interested in putting up BoF proposals for IETF 124.

The purpose of these sessions is to answer questions, as BoF proponents put together their BoF requests. The goal is to help BoF proponents improve their proposals before the IESG reviews them and ensure all necessary information (as per the template) is captured.

BoF proponents are strongly encouraged to review the following sources before these sessions:
Process: https://www.rfc-editor.org/rfc/rfc2418.html#section-2.4
Template and form for submission of BoF proposal: https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/bof-requests/new/
Considerations for having a successful BoF: https://www.rfc-editor.org/rfc/rfc5434.html

Proponents are also encouraged to share an outline of their proposals (preferably using the BoF template) with the IESG (iesg@xxxxxxxx) and the IAB (iab@xxxxxxx) in advance of these AMA sessions and indicate the session that they would be attending. Please note that the technical proposals will not be discussed during these sessions.
