So from that, would have to come back "[Recentattendees] Subject" if I understand it right. That way we keep the tags that IETF gives these emails, but we also get rid of the unnecessary "external" cruft. Whether it's a legitimate security feature or not is debatable, but I doubt that those managing corporate servers that inject these would be interested in removing it either.
Mine just gets rid of the tags. We're overthinking this, particularly since it's a bad idea in the first place.
