Hello,
By chance, I noticed that the HTML versions of documents on the IETF
website fetch fonts from Google. I was wondering if we're all okay
with that?

Actually: no. In the EU that requires a privacy statement because of
the information being sent to Google.
The "proper" fix would be to self-host the fonts.
+1. Enabling Google to track anything at all as a side effect of
reading IETF documents is completely unacceptable. Google is a privacy
disaster (not the only one, obviously).
