This is the announcement of the *final* list of volunteers for the 2025–2026 NomCom. There have been no changes to the list since it was last published on Friday, 4 July.
The first random seeds are available today (8 July 2025, 20:00 UTC – EuroMillions draw), and the remaining seeds will be published tomorrow, Wednesday, 9 July 2025, with the final one expected on Thursday, 10 July 2025, at 03:00 UTC (US Powerball draw, 9 July 2025, 23:00 ET).
The seed sources to be used are listed below:
* The seven numbers (6 plus bonus) from NZ Lotto (https://mylotto.co.nz/results/lotto) on Wednesday 2025-07-09.
* The six numbers from US Powerball (https://www.powerball.com/previous-results) on Wednesday 2025-07-09.
* The seven numbers from Croatian Lottery Loto 7 (https://www.lutrija.hr/hl/rezultati/loto-7) on Wednesday 2025-07-09.
* The seven numbers from Euro-Millions (https://www.euro-millions.com) on Tuesday 2025-07-08.
Once all random seeds are available on 10 July, the selection process will begin, using this list of 192 volunteers. The list is presented in the exact order that will be used for the RFC 3797 selection process.
Regarding affiliations: as in previous years, subsidiaries are regarded as the same affiliation as their parent company. There are also some individuals whose affiliations are unclear, such as entries that are blank, marked as "independent", or similar, which makes assessment more difficult.
In cases where the affiliation conflict is clear, I will disqualify the selection and immediately move to the next eligible volunteer.
If the affiliation is ambiguous and requires further clarification, I will consider the person selected for the time being and will not replace them straight away. If the inquiry results in disqualification, a replacement will be selected using the process previously outlined, treating it as if the person had declined the position.
Finally, thank you to everyone who volunteered. This is an important responsibility, and we appreciate those who are willing to serve our community in this way.
