Ombudsteam update

The IETF has an Anti-Harassment Policy [1] “to create and maintain an environment in which people of many different backgrounds are treated with dignity, decency, and respect.” This policy is operationalized with the support of the Ombudsteam, a designated group of people who have been selected to handle reports of potential harassment in the IETF [2] [3].

After more than nine years of service, Pete Resnick has stepped down from the Ombudsteam. I would like to thank Pete for his years of tireless service, working behind the scenes, both on-site and between meetings, to ensure that the IETF is a welcoming environment.

David Schinazi has graciously agreed to join the Ombudsteam. Many thanks to David for his willingness to take on this role.

Allison Mankin, Avri Doria, Shivan Sahib, and Sofia Celi continue to serve on the team. The Ombudsteam can be reached at ombudsteam@xxxxxxxx or at their individual addresses listed at [3].

Regards,
Roman Danyliw
IETF Chair
