The IETF has an Anti-Harassment Policy [1] “to create and maintain an environment in which people of many different backgrounds are treated with dignity, decency, and respect.” This policy is operationalized with the support of the Ombudsteam, a designated group of people who have been selected to handle reports of potential harassment in the IETF [2] [3]. After more than nine years of service, Pete Resnick has stepped down from the Ombudsteam. I would like to thank Pete for his years of tireless service, working behind the scenes, both on-site and between meetings, to ensure that the IETF is a welcoming environment. David Schinazi has graciously agreed to join the Ombudsteam. Many thanks to David for his willingness to take on this role.
