I agree. Further, there is an understandable tendency to slowly get boiled by these services, e.g. I have to now accept a CF "am human" checkbox before I can log in to the datatracker. So, I'd hope the LLC will try again to see if they can come up with cleaner ways to make IETF content accessible to participants who do not want to partake in mega-company commercial surveillance. I'm not sure how much can be achieved, but even in the face of new AI bot scanning, it's an exercise that needs to be done periodically. Cheers, S. PS: I'd be quite happy to help out with testing how well/badly the set of tools I'm willing to use work with IETF content, and I'd guess a bunch of others with oddball setups would also, so the LLC could maybe avoid some of these surprises for participants if they setup an oddball-setups group who'd be similarly willing to help. PPS: I guess if the above fails, I can just wander over the road to Nick's house and shoulder surf:-)
