More generally, I think we should hear from some client vendors (browsers or otherwise
about what they want here, prior to standardizing anything in this space.

This is a technology which is used to publish certain information that the resolvers
wish to publish but that is only useful if some client will consume that information
and do something useful with it. Therefore, some evidence that that is going
to happen should be a minimum requirement for standardization.

Client vendors expressed support for this draft after which it was adopted by the WG
