What I would prefer we not lose site of was that we had very few
applications for Ops, Int, and Apps this time around. Apps was,
as Dean noted, particularly concerning because the incumbent was
stepping down. At the end of the day, it is NOT the IESG's
responsibility to address these concerns, but that of the
community. Our community defined the processes; our community can
change them. As I wrote earlier, that starts with a draft.
