Hi,

I was looking at another discussion on this list, but this is wrong. It takes you to IETF 123 in Madrid. The link that works is:

https://www.ietf.org/meeting/122/hotel/hotel/

If you want to stay at a different hotel, I would not pay too much attention to the proximity of the other options, they are more inconvenient than they look. The Marriott itself is not particularly great unless you plan to spend an entire week in conference rooms there. Anything on Sukhumvit is fine (choose your reputable hotel chain of choice, and note there are bad ones too). You want it to be easy to get to the Phrom Phong or Asok stations on the BTS line. Both open to big fancy shopping malls. You might still need a taxi or something if it's really hot or it's raining, but it should be 5 minutes or less in either case. Google Maps coverage is excellent here, so download that area map in advance if you are nervous (it is a feature so you don't need connectivity beyond GPS).

thanks,
Rob
