I am the assigned Gen-ART reviewer for this draft. The General Area
Review Team (Gen-ART) reviews all IETF documents being processed
by the IESG for the IETF Chair.  Please treat these comments just
like any other last call comments.

Document: draft-ietf-pce-pcep-color-11
Reviewer: Christer Holmberg
Review Date: 2025-02-18
IETF LC End Date: 2025-02-07
IESG Telechat date: 2025-02-20

Summary: The document is well written, and easy to understand. However, I do
have an editorial comment that I would like the authors to address.

Major issues: N/A

Minor issues: N/A

Nits/editorial comments:

Currently the text says that a color tag can be used to associate a route or
policy with an intent or objective. For readers not familiar it is a little
unclear what "intent or objective" refers to. Perhaps adding a few words that
it can be used to include/exclude certain type of traffic on a route, etc.

In ver 12 (https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-ietf-pce-pcep-color/12/), we
added an example in the "Abstract" to clarify what "intent or objective" refers
to. The "Introduction" section includes some text describing the use of color
and references RFC9012 and RFC9256, which explain the use of color in
more detail.
