That is impossible.  The original stuff you showed very clearly said you
used --build= .  It is not possible the configure scripts have become
sentient and do this whether asked to or not!  (Or so one can hope,
anyway).

So likely something else is going wrong for you now.  Have you tried
cutting back to only the minimal set of options you need?  I.e. don't
pass anything you have not yet shown you absolutely need!
