I tried the go2rpm packaging first but quickly ran into the fact that it isn't supported in EPEL. EPEL support is needed for this package. I do hope that the compat package is allowed. It is optional and it is a convenience for those who are used to vault. It's similar to podman's addon compatibility package for docker.
