You need explicit: %{_libdir}/libMyGUICommon.so.%{version} %{_libdir}/libMyGUIEngine.so.%{version} Otherwise you risk unnoticed SONAME changes which will break dependent packages. It looks like the SONAME will change even with micro version bump.
