I know there have been discussions about lifting this requirement and there are a bunch of packages in Fedora that already do golang bundled provides, but the toplevel guidelines [1] still state not to use them. Though the golang guidelines [2] state just that they SHOULD be unbundled, but then says > For some project it can be reasonable to build from bundled dependencies. > Every bundling needs a proper justification. Do you know (better than I, of course) what the rules are here? Do we need to submit "proper justification" and get it approved?
