https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2350109 --- Comment #60 from Pramod V U <pramodvu1502@xxxxxxxxx> --- I have amended the specfile to provide the "crontabs" package, and also to actually provide all of the files provided by "crontabs". Considering that unlike "Provides: cronie", "Provides: crontabs" is infact *true* and not a "hacky solution to dependency mess" (systemd-cron provides all the /etc/cron.* files as well as a sample /etc/crontab now), this might be a lot more acceptable. This also conflicts with the original "crontabs" package for that purpose. This eliminates the need for "alternatives", not requiring changes to all other packages, etc... Yes, I am leaving the cronie bug for a clean "Provides: cron" open, but for now this is the solution for systemd-cron (hopefully). (Note that I am not available to communicate as frequently as I used to be; responses might be days, weeks or even months apart; But I am there...) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
