-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fedora Update Notification FEDORA-2025-1db67cc2d0 2025-08-22 02:08:21.664172+00:00 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Name : oscillatord Product : Fedora 42 Version : 3.8.4 Release : 2.fc42 URL : https://github.com/Orolia2s/oscillatord Summary : Daemon for disciplining an oscillator Description : The oscillatord daemon takes input from a PHC clock, reporting once per second, the phase error between an oscillator and a reference GNSS receiver. For an example of such a device, please see the ptp_ocp kernel driver. The phase error read is then used as an input to the disciplining-minipod library which will compute a setpoint, used by oscillatord to control an oscillator and discipline it to the 1PPS from a GNSS receiver. Oscillatord also sets PHC'stime at start up, using Output from a GNSS receiver. To communicate with GNSS receiver's serial it uses ubloxcfg -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update Information: Updating oscillatord to 3.8.4 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ChangeLog: * Wed Aug 20 2025 Patrick Cullen <cullenptrck@xxxxxxxxx> - 3.8.4-2 - Update to 3.8.4 * Wed Aug 20 2025 Fedora Release Engineering <releng@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> - 3.8.4-1 - Rebuilt for https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Fedora_43_Mass_Rebuild * Thu Jul 24 2025 Fedora Release Engineering <releng@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> - 3.8.3-2 - Rebuilt for https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Fedora_43_Mass_Rebuild -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This update can be installed with the "dnf" update program.
