Name : libtorrent
Product : Fedora 42
Version : 0.15.6
Release : 1.fc42
URL : https://github.com/rakshasa/libtorrent/
Summary : BitTorrent library with a focus on high performance & good code
Description :
LibTorrent is a BitTorrent library written in C++ for *nix, with a focus
on high performance and good code. The library differentiates itself
from other implementations by transfering directly from file pages to
the network stack. On high-bandwidth connections it is able to seed at
3 times the speed of the official client.

Update Information:

0.15.6
Minor bug fixes.
0.15.5
Minor bug fixes.
0.15.4
Fixes various issues in the previous release and refactoring of threads, polling
and scheduler code.
Added system.files.advise_random.hashing.set for speeding up initial hashing of
files in a
torrent. This can be used in conjunction with system.files.advise_random.set to
reduce disk I/O on SSDs.
Enabling system.files.advise_random.set will reduce unnecessary disk I/O on
SSDs, while disabling
system.files.advise_random.hashing.set ensures that the initial hashing retains
the benefits of
sequential disk read-ahead.
0.15.3
Fixes various issues in the previous release, such as tracker-related segfaults
and very slow SCGI responses.
Improved thread and scheduler code which will help continued efforts to make
rtorrent multi-threaded.
0.15.2
UDP DNS now uses UDNS, which is embedded in the libtorrent source code.
Colors, LUA and json-rpc are now supported in the client.
There's now an issue created requesting testing and recommendation of config
presets, which aims at
making easier to set up the client for specific environments / usage. (#1428)
