-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fedora Update Notification FEDORA-2025-00d2ed8bd2 2025-09-12 19:20:52.462256+00:00 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Name : javassist Product : Fedora 43 Version : 3.30.2 Release : 16.fc43 URL : https://www.javassist.org/ Summary : Java Programming Assistant for Java bytecode manipulation Description : Javassist enables Java programs to define a new class at runtime and to modify a class file when the JVM loads it. Unlike other similar bytecode editors, Javassist provides two levels of API: source level and bytecode level. If the users use the source-level API, they can edit a class file without knowledge of the specifications of the Java bytecode. The whole API is designed with only the vocabulary of the Java language. You can even specify inserted bytecode in the form of source text; Javassist compiles it on the fly. On the other hand, the bytecode-level API allows the users to directly edit a class file as other editors. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update Information: manual bodhi update for jdk25 needed on selected pkgs Build with JDK 25 Automatic update for javassist-3.30.2-9.fc43. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ChangeLog: * Thu Sep 4 2025 Jiri Vanek <jvanek@xxxxxxxxxx> - 3.30.2-16 - manual bodhi update for jdk25 needed on selected pkgs * Tue Sep 2 2025 Marian Koncek <mkoncek@xxxxxxxxxx> - 3.30.2-15 - Build with JDK 25 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This update can be installed with the "dnf" update program.
