-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fedora Update Notification FEDORA-2025-3090061d9c 2025-08-13 01:31:18.135838+00:00 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Name : mod_qos Product : Fedora 41 Version : 11.76 Release : 1.fc41 URL : http://opensource.adnovum.ch/mod_qos/ Summary : Quality of service module for Apache Description : The mod_qos module may be used to determine which requests should be served and which shouldn't in order to avoid resource over-subscription. The module collects different attributes such as the request URL, HTTP request and response headers, the IP source address, the HTTP response code, history data (based on user session and source IP address), the number of concurrent requests to the server (total or requests having similar attributes), the number of concurrent TCP connections (total or from a single source IP), and so forth. Counteractive measures to enforce the defined rules are: request blocking, dynamic timeout adjustment, request delay, response throttling, and dropping of TCP connections. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update Information: Version 11.76 Setting connection note short-lingering-close when aborting connection (to improve connection close behavior when using MPM event) Removes outdated utilities from the distribution package: qsfilter2, qspng, qsrotate, qssign, qstail, qshead, qsgrep, qsexec, qscheck, qslogger, and qsdt -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ChangeLog: * Mon Aug 4 2025 Robert Scheck <robert@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> - 11.76-1 - Update to 11.76 (#2276050) - Remove build-time conditionals for Apache HTTP Server 2.2 * Thu Jul 24 2025 Fedora Release Engineering <releng@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> - 11.75-5 - Rebuilt for https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Fedora_43_Mass_Rebuild * Fri Jan 17 2025 Fedora Release Engineering <releng@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> - 11.75-4 - Rebuilt for https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Fedora_42_Mass_Rebuild * Mon Jul 29 2024 Miroslav Suchý <msuchy@xxxxxxxxxx> - 11.75-3 - convert license to SPDX * Thu Jul 18 2024 Fedora Release Engineering <releng@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> - 11.75-2 - Rebuilt for https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Fedora_41_Mass_Rebuild * Fri Apr 19 2024 Neil Hanlon <neil@xxxxxxxx> - 11.75-1 - Update to 11.75 (#2276050) * Thu Jan 25 2024 Fedora Release Engineering <releng@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> - 11.74-4 - Rebuilt for https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Fedora_40_Mass_Rebuild * Sun Jan 21 2024 Fedora Release Engineering <releng@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> - 11.74-3 - Rebuilt for https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Fedora_40_Mass_Rebuild -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- References: [ 1 ] Bug #2276050 - mod_qos-11.76 is available https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2276050 [ 2 ] Bug #2300973 - mod_qos: FTBFS in Fedora rawhide/f41 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2300973 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This update can be installed with the "dnf" update program.
