-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fedora Update Notification FEDORA-2025-c32a9d41b4 2025-07-25 01:03:41.741414+00:00 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Name : python-injector Product : Fedora 42 Version : 0.22.0 Release : 1.fc42 URL : https://github.com/alecthomas/injector Summary : Python dependency injection framework inspired by Guice Description : Dependency injection as a formal pattern is less useful in Python than in other languages, primarily due to its support for keyword arguments, the ease with which objects can be mocked, and its dynamic nature. That said, a framework for assisting in this process can remove a lot of boiler-plate from larger applications. That's where Injector can help. It automatically and transitively provides keyword arguments with their values. As an added benefit, Injector encourages nicely compartmentalised code through the use of `Module` s. While being inspired by Guice, it does not slavishly replicate its API. Providing a Pythonic API trumps faithfulness. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update Information: 0.22.0 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ChangeLog: * Wed Jul 16 2025 Gwyn Ciesla <gwync@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> - 0.22.0-1 - 0.22.0 * Tue Jul 8 2025 Gwyn Ciesla <gwync@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> - 0.21.0-9 - Migrate to new macros -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- References: [ 1 ] Bug #2380408 - python-injector-0.22.0 is available https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2380408 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This update can be installed with the "dnf" update program.
