Elliott (qulogic) figured it out - upstream added a workaround for this particular issue in the development branch (indeed, it looks like it *shouldn't* be necessary, but the issue might just actually be a bug in meson :shrug:): https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/glycin/-/commit/0eba79e With this upstream change (and a related fix) backported, the package built successfully on Fedora 42 on all architectures.
