FYI - ethtool 6.15 has a bug affecting printing text-only headers; it is fixed in a post-release commit but that fix does not build with - Werror=format-security so I have submitted a follow-up fix to netdev@ PRs submitted for the Fedora package. Dear ethtool maintainers, ethtool 6.15 has a bug in which an added NULL-check prevent printing text headers; I filed a bug here: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2383328 This is fixed upstream (though a 6.15.1 is not cut yet), but when attempting to incorporate that fix, it turns out that the fix does not compile with -Werror=format-security I have submitted the fix for that upstream, so hopefully that gets in soon.
