Hello, I hope you are all doing well.
I am formally writing this email as a request to be the maintainer of the package under the name sunwait. This is orphaned 12 days ago.
My motivations are:
1. To contribute to the open source community
2. To help keep the package available and maintained in Fedora
3. To improve my technical skills and experience as a contributor
What I have done so far:
1. Cloned the repository and reviewed the source
2. Successfully built and tested the package using fedpkg locally
3. No issues were encountered during the process
If approved, I will:
1. Monitor Bugzilla for issues or requests
2. Follow Fedora Packaging Guidelines
3. Provide support to users who find this package useful
I will appreciate any feedback or answer.
