Seeking community input: AI tooling in Fedora workflows

Hi everyone,

I'm writing to draw your attention to an important discussion we've started on the Fedora Discourse, focusing on the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools within the Fedora community. @andreboscatto and I believe this is a crucial topic as AI-based tools are rapidly evolving and becoming more prevalent in code quality analysis, code review assistance, and related evaluation tasks.

You can find the ongoing discussion here: https://discussion.fedoraproject.org/t/initiating-a-discussion-ai-tools-for-code-quality-and-evaluation-in-fedora/152319

While AI offers significant potential benefits for improving our workflows, it also raises important questions around trust, transparency, licensing, and alignment with Fedora’s values and open source principles. We need to collectively define how AI tools can fit into our community.

We're aiming for a community-wide discussion to reach a shared understanding. Please join us on Discourse and share your perspective. Let's build something together!
