Banned from ceph-users with no explanation

Apparently I just got banned from ceph-users (presumably) for this
thread, with no notification nor explanation whatsoever:

https://lists.ceph.io/hyperkitty/list/ceph-users@xxxxxxx/thread/M2WT46TQ5KE5WMTHNZKDIOMVKL4KMJ3Q/

I thought this was a welcoming community for the 10 years I've been part
of it, including submitting code improvements and bugs and tracking down
distro packaging and other problems. Now someone calls my setup "like
running a diesel truck on cough syrup" and *I* get banned? What?

Even if there were a legitimate reason for disciplinary action, this
doesn't even remotely follow the CoC process:

https://ceph.io/en/code-of-conduct/

I am *extremely* disappointed in this community. I thought this was one
of the most welcoming and well-managed FOSS communities out there, and
I've used it as a positive example to others multiple times. I even
based the CoC of the project I started [1] on Ceph's. All that just went
out the window.

(Yes, I really am banned, I stopped receiving or being able to post
messages and lists.ceph.io says "Membership is banned" when I try to
re-subscribe; it does let me sub to dev@ though)
